![]() ![]() ![]() You can still do cockpit fighting without it being a hard core space sim style game. Turn what they and most others had enjoyed about their game-the less serious/more fun atmosphere-and turn it up to 11. Plus they wanted to do something new and have a bit more fun with it. This time around they decided there was plenty of space for that style of game. They had no idea that a few years later it wasn't. The only reason they went with the broadside combat is because at the time they thought the cockpit-view genre was about to be flooded. I was expecting better than Rebel Galaxy. IDK, I'm kinda bummed out with this new announcement of Outlaw. Kinda stick to the adventure RPG style but giving the elements of a open universe space simulation. I was hoping that your next installment would be in the line of SC and ED but not going all out like they did. Then after the release you realized you can compete with them. You were afraid to compete with ED, SC and NMS. What direction are you headed with this? I saw the video of the one hour play. Just being able to see your ship and the colorful graphics you offer made the game enjoyable to play. If you're not going in the direction of Elite Dangerous or SC then what is the point of cockpit fighting? The naval base gave more in depth feeling of combat. I fell in love with that game and how the naval combat system was. No matter how hard Star Citizen and Elite Dangerous and even No Man Sky for that matter try to give realistic graphics for space simulation nothing will compare to Rebel Galaxy. The day I played Rebel Galaxy I fell in love with the game. ![]()
